Terms of service
Effective date: July 23, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing, browsing, or submitting information through unclenchdental.com ("the Site"), you accept these Terms in full. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Unclench Dental, a California Professional Dental Corporation. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit clinical inquiries or receive services. The Site and all services are intended for adults. By submitting an inquiry, you affirm that you are 18 or older and a resident of the United States.
Services description
Unclench Dental provides a deliberately limited scope of dental services focused on therapeutic neuromodulator (botulinum toxin) therapy for temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), bruxism, masseter hypertrophy, tension-type head and jaw pain, and stress-pattern clenching. Services are provided in the patient's home, hotel, or office across the South Bay of Los Angeles and in hotels near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
We do not provide general dentistry, preventive care, restorative treatment, orthodontics, oral surgery, emergency dental care, or cosmetic-only botulinum toxin services. See our full scope of practice.
No clinician–patient relationship via the Site
Accessing the Site, reading our content, or submitting an inquiry does not create a clinician–patient relationship. A clinician–patient relationship is formed only after: (a) a formal virtual or in-person consultation, (b) completion and signing of required intake and consent forms, and (c) our explicit acceptance of you as a patient. We retain the right to decline care at our professional discretion.
Not medical advice
All content on the Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical, dental, or legal advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional evaluation. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you have read on the Site.
If you are experiencing a medical or dental emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Telehealth terms
Virtual consultations are delivered through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform operated by a third-party Business Associate. Prior to the first virtual visit, patients sign a telehealth-specific informed consent. Telehealth sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed to in writing. A telehealth visit does not substitute for an in-person examination when one is clinically indicated.
Fees, payment, and cancellation policy
Unclench Dental is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. Fees and payment terms are disclosed to each patient before consent to treat. Consultation fees are credited in full toward treatment when the patient proceeds to the First Visit.
Cancellation and no-show policy
- Free 15-minute discovery call: Cancel anytime at no charge. A courtesy 24-hour notice is appreciated so the time can be offered to another patient.
- $200 virtual consultation: Cancel or reschedule at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend without prior notice (no-show), result in forfeiture of the consultation fee. The fee is non-refundable in these circumstances.
- First Visit and treatment visits: Cancel or reschedule at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are subject to a late-cancellation fee as specified in the booking confirmation sent at the time of scheduling.
Appointment reminders are sent automatically 48 hours and 24 hours before each scheduled visit. To cancel or reschedule, use the link in your confirmation email or log in to the patient portal. Same-day cancellations by phone or email are also accepted at [email protected].

User-submitted content
Information you submit through the inquiry form or any other communication channel is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you represent that it is truthful and that you have the right to share it. For clinical information, this forms part of your medical record and is subject to HIPAA and CMIA protections.
Third-party links and services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (payment processor, telehealth platform, analytics, email provider). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party sites. Use of third-party services is governed by those parties' terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that clinical content is applicable to any individual's specific circumstances.
This disclaimer does not limit warranties or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable California law — including implied warranties that apply to professional services or California Civil Code provisions governing professional negligence.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unclench Dental and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site — including without limitation loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
This limitation does not apply to claims arising from clinical care provided in the context of an established clinician–patient relationship, which are governed by California professional malpractice law and the terms of our informed consent agreements.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unclench Dental, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site, (c) your violation of any applicable law, or (d) your infringement of the rights of a third party.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be filed, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of, the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Dispute resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 60 days of notice, either party may pursue formal remedies.
Clinical disputes regarding care delivered under an established clinician–patient relationship are governed by the terms of the applicable informed consent and California professional licensing and malpractice law, not by these Site Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unenforceable, or contrary to law, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page and reflected in the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
