A note from your dentist

Jaw Botox isn't vanity. It's quieting the muscle so you can finally sleep.

Five questions from Dr. Nguyen. Instant result, plus the free guide "5 signs your headache is your jaw."

What therapeutic botox actually does

One treatment.
Three outcomes.

Small doses quiet the masseter and temporalis. The clench-grind pattern releases within 2–3 weeks.

01
For your jaw — TMJ

The clicking, the locking, the pain at the joint.

Relaxes the muscles pressuring the joint. Clicking and pain ease within weeks.

Most relevant · TMD
02
For your head

The headaches, the temple pressure, the sore face.

Calms the temporalis behind the clench — easing temple pressure and morning headaches at their source.

Most relevant · Tension-pattern headache
03
For your sleep

The grinding, the broken nightguards, the never-rested mornings.

Cutting nighttime force reduces grinding at the source — deeper sleep, fewer morning headaches.

Most relevant · Bruxism

Why a dentist

The jaw is not a forehead.

The jaw is anatomy a dentist spends a decade learning — the bite, the joint, the nerve, the muscle. Diagnostic first: many consults end without treatment.

If you've been here before

You're not imagining it. And you're not being dramatic.

Most people with jaw pain have already been told "it's just stress," handed a nightguard, and sent home. The pain stayed. The clenching stayed.

What's missing isn't willpower — it's a clinician who treats the muscle doing the damage. That's the whole practice. That's all we do.

Untreated, a clench pattern compounds — worn enamel, cracked teeth, entrenched headaches. The muscle keeps its habit until something interrupts it.

Frequently asked

Before you book.

The honest answers we give over the phone, written down.

01Is this medical botox or cosmetic botox?
Same FDA-approved drug — different goal, placement, and dose. Here it's therapeutic: quieting overactive jaw muscles. A softer lower face can be a side effect, not the point.
02Will it work for me?
Most patients feel real relief within two to four weeks. Some respond fully, some partly, a few not at all. We tell you honestly and reassess together.
03Will this help my headaches?
Often — when the headache starts in your jaw. Clenching keeps the masseter and temporalis contracted, and that strain refers up into temple pressure and morning headaches; quieting those muscles relieves it at the source. We treat the jaw, not the forehead. If your headaches turn out to be primarily neurological, we'll tell you plainly and point you to the right specialist.
04What if I have insurance?
We welcome insured patients but don't bill insurance. On request: a superbill plus medical-necessity letter for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
05Can I stop any time?
Yes. Effects wear off on their own over months. No dependency, no withdrawal, no obligation.
The fine print, plainly

This site is educational, not medical advice. Neuromodulator therapy is a prescription treatment with potential risks; suitability is determined only after a clinical consultation, and not every presentation qualifies — we'll tell you plainly when it's not right. Results vary. Cash-pay; no insurance billing.
